Last updated: 29 July 2026
This policy explains how YENGEC LTD ("we", "us") handles personal data. We are the data controller for the purposes of the UK General Data Protection Regulation and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Who we are
YENGEC LTD, a private limited company registered in England and Wales, company number 14853350. Registered office: 3 Aspen Close, Ely, Cambridgeshire, CB7 4TL, United Kingdom. Contact: mobile.app@yengec.uk.
What this website collects
This website does not use analytics, advertising trackers or non-essential cookies. It does not have sign-up or contact forms, and it does not build a profile of visitors.
Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, which may include your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. These logs exist to keep the service running and secure, and are retained for a short period by the provider before deletion.
Web fonts on this site are served by Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google's servers when a page loads. That request includes your IP address. If you would prefer this not to happen, most browsers allow you to block third-party requests.
If you email us
When you email us we receive your address, your name if you include it, and whatever else you choose to write. We use this only to reply and to carry out any work you go on to instruct. The lawful basis is legitimate interests, or performance of a contract once we are working together.
We keep business correspondence for as long as it is commercially relevant, and for up to six years after the end of an engagement where records are needed for legal, tax or accounting purposes.
Who we share data with
We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for marketing. We use a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf, including our web hosting and email provider, and our accounting software. Each is bound by contract to process data only on our instructions.
We may disclose information where we are required to do so by law.
International transfers
Some of our providers operate outside the United Kingdom. Where personal data is transferred abroad, we rely on the UK's adequacy regulations or on the International Data Transfer Addendum to the standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- ask what personal data we hold about you and receive a copy
- have inaccurate data corrected
- ask us to delete data where there is no continuing reason to keep it
- object to or restrict certain processing
- ask for data you provided to be sent to you or another controller
To exercise any of these, email mobile.app@yengec.uk. We will respond within one month.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
